My Journey
I’m Rahma Hassan, a saxophonist with an unexpected beginning. My journey started at the Faculty of Law, but my true passion has always been music. In a society where it’s uncommon to see women playing the saxophone, I chose to follow my heart and break the mold. With dedication and love for the instrument, I pursued my path to professionalism, leading me to the Conservatoire – the Higher Institute for Music – where I found where I truly belong. Today, I don’t just play the saxophone; I feel every note and express my soul through it.
Alongside my performances, I love creating saxophone covers of songs from all over the world—because music doesn’t understand language, it only speaks in harmony, emotion, and connection. You’ll often find me spreading joyful vibes through my saxophone at weddings, engagements, birthdays, corporate events, launches, soft openings, theaters, concerts, and graduation parties. Wherever there’s a moment to celebrate, I bring my passion to life through music.
